NFC South’s Quarterbacks Ranked after Regular Season!

The NFC South’s QB quartet is in a league of its own right now.

Ryan is fresh off a sensational MVP season and is set up for greatness again in 2017.

Newton took home the hardware the year before and boasts one of the rarest skill sets in the NFL today.

Brees has more 5,000-yard seasons (five) than every other quarterback in NFL history combined. He’s Canton bound … yet still terrorizing defenses in his late 30s.

Winston who was poised for a true breakout in 2017 as the Buccaneers added weapons for their young franchise quarterback.

It’s not hard to imagine any of these four QBs making an MVP push in 2017.

4 Jameis Winston (Buccaneers)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston finished the 2017 season with 3,504 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and a 92.2 quarterback rating. Winston has now thrown for 11,636 passing yards throughout his tenure in the NFL, which is more yards than any player in his first three NFL seasons except Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck.

Despite missing three games this season due to a shoulder injury, he had a pretty solid year overall.

He’s a turnover machine.

The 23-year-old gunslinger unfortunately struggled immensely when it came to narrowing his interceptions down this season. He finished the year with 11 interceptions and 10 fumbles in 13 games. Though he did improve when it came to connecting with his receivers and gaining yardage, this season proved that he still has serious issues protecting the football.

Winston just finished wrapping up Year 3 of his NFL career and has proven that he has a bright future ahead of him, but working on protecting the football and avoiding turnovers is something that must be addressed this offseason. If not, the Bucs may just unfortunately have to suffer through another 5-11 season in 2018 which is definitely something no one wants. For that reason he kicks off our rankings.
